"Honest" Brute is an Armored Core pilot active on the planet Rubicon 3 during the Coral War. He was a former associate of "Cinder" Carla of RaD before he betrayed them, stealing one of their ACs named "MILK TOOTH", along with several of their weapons and equipent, including a giant prototype rail cannon. This act has earned him Carla's eternal enmity.
Brute has a deceptively eloquent and friendly way of speaking, mockingly talking to Carla as if they're still good friends, and addressing 621 like he's welcoming an honored guest to his abode. Underneath all his niceties however, is a mentally unstable individual who treats the act of deception and murder as a fun game for him to play.

MILK TOOTH is a yellow and grey heavyweight bipedal AC constructed from the RaD-developed CC-3000 WRECKER frame. It is armed with a flamethrower in its right hand, a chainsaw mounted on the left, a split missile launcher is its back right unit, and the left unit is a spread bazooka.

In ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, "Honest" Brute is an NPC that can be fought in the Records division of the Arena for a reward of 40,000 COAM. He is also a mandatory boss fight in the Chapter 3 mission "Eliminate 'Honest' Brute."

Trivia[]
- The WB-0000 BAD COOK Flame Thrower and HC-3000 WRECKER Head are both unique to Brute's MILK TOOTH in the AC Data presets.
- The right iris of his emblem is glancing aside, while the left one is looking directly ahead. Which alludes to his dishonest nature as being unable to look someone in the eye while speaking is said to be a behavioral quirk for people who are lying.
- The name Brute comes from Marcus Junius Brutus, the most famous of Julius Caesar's assassins who was immortalized by William Shakespeare's rendition of the event, in which Caesar expresses despair at his betrayal with the final words "Et tu, Brute?"
