The 44-142 KRSV Multi Energy Rifle is an Arm Unit in ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON.
It is the game's incarnation of the KARASAWA laser rifle, the signature laser rifle of the Armored Core series.

Acquisition[]
- A copy of this weapon for the Right Arm is rewarded upon reaching Rank 12 in the Loghunt Program, afterwards a copy for the Left Arm can be bought from the Parts Shop for 377,000 COAM.
Notes[]
- The KSRV is a very stat-hungry weapon. It is the single-heaviest arm-weapon in the game (and it's weight is second only to the equally monstrous VE-60LCA), and has the third-highest EN load requirement. This makes it particularly challenging to mount on anything short of heavyweight setups.
- This weapon has three different firing modes depending on the weapon's charge level:
- Normal non-charged fire will shoot off a purple plasma blast that deals area-of-effect damage from the point of impact. Unlike most other energy weapons found at this point, the KRSV's RoF is very high, firing as fast as the RF-024 TURNER, and it is very easy to overheat it if used carelessly.
- Initial charging of the weapon will allow it to fire a blue laser shot with a faster projectile speed that deals more damage against a single target.
- While not listed in its stats, this charged shot consumes 8 units of ammo.
- Firing at full charge will combine both its plasma shot and its laser shot into a single powerful beam that deals increased damage.
- KRSV in four-letter words abbreviates "Karasawa" in all Armored Core series.
- The weapon can rapidly fire 9 uncharged shots straight before it overheats. It automatically overheats after firing a single charged shot.
- Update 1.06 patch notes: Adjusted knockback distance of staggered enemies, so consecutive attacks are easier to land. Adjusted hitbox so that an enemy staggered by the plasma impact will not be released from hit stun by the follow-up plasma explosion[1]

- Closer inspection shows that the weapon is essentially two rifle barrels attached together side-by-side, giving it its unique multi-mode properties. It does however shift its form based on its charge level.
- When in its first charged state, it takes on the familiar silhouette of the Karasawa from Armored Core 2.
- When in its fully charged state, it takes on the appearance of the CANOPUS from Armored Core 4.
- With a price of 377,000 COAM, this is the most expensive Arm Unit in the game.
