Trivia[]
- This was one of the parts shown in the June 15, 2023 4-minute gameplay preview.[1]
- The "alula," also called the "bastard wing," is a protrusion on the leading edge of a bird's wing, consisting of the first digit of the avian limb (roughly analogous to the human thumb) and 3-5 attached flight feathers. It functions similarly to the slats of an airplane, allowing the wing to generate more lift at low speeds without stalling.
