- For the Armored Core: For Answer version, see Assault Armor.
Assault Armor is reworked for ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON — it is now stylized as ASSAULT ARMOR and differs in capabilities.
"Creates a pulse explosion centered on the AC, cancelling out incoming enemy fire and creating a damaging area-of-effect shockwave."
Expansion[]
Players have access to Assault Armor as an Expansion part, unlocked from OS Tuning. When activated, it releases an energy blast that deals 1,500 Damage and 2,000 Impact against enemies within 60 meters. Any enemy projectiles like bullets, beams, or missiles caught within the blast will be destroyed. At max level, Assault Armor can hold up to three charges per mission, though it can be resupplied by a Supply Sherpa.

Trivia[]
- If an AC is using a Coral generator, the color of the Assault Armor blast will be bright red, its damage type is also changed to Coral.
- ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON is the second game in the franchise to feature Assault Armor as a mechanic, the first being Armored Core: For Answer. Unlike in its previous incarnation, this version does not require sacrificing defensive capability to use, but in turn can now only be used a limited number of times per mission.
- Unlike the For Answer version which requires Kojima technology, Assault Armor in ARMORED CORE VI is far more common, available for everyone.
