AC FOG 1 | Schnabel 1[]

AC FOG 1
FOG 1 is a lightweight two-legged AC equipped with a dual missile launcher double back weapon, laser rifle and the MOONLIGHT laser blade. Due to the Human Plus enhancements of the pilot the unit can fire blade waves and launch into battle overweight.
In Japanese, his AC name is Schnabel 1 (シュナーベル・1 Shunāberu 1).
Strategy[]
Unlike EX300, this Raven doesn't require a special set of weapons to be deadly. Adler is a dangerous foe at all ranges, something that can rarely be said about majority of the Master Arena opponents.
Adler will start off the battle by letting loose a couple of missile salvos from its shoulders, which are accurate and can deal serious damage. Afterwards, he will start pecking away at you with his laser rifle, which he is a good shot with. Unlike most Arena rankers, Adler does not force himself to take to the skies and will gladly maintain altitude if it guarantees more assured hits. Adler will also boost hop multiple times while strafing, this makes him quite dangerous as he is able to land repeated laser rifle hits on you while dodging your attacks with little to no effort. On top of that, he will also shoot Moonlight energy waves whenever he sees an opening. With these in mind, Adler is a daunting foe to face.
Attempting to lure Adler out of bounds while flying like Napoleon or EX300 will be futile as Adler does not rely on gaining height advantage in his combat style. Additionally, trying to cheese him in an tight map like the Parking Garage will only serve to make it easier for Adler to keep you locked in his sights for the majority of the battle, and more often than not, a damage race will always turn out to be in his favor as Adler's PLUS abilities grant him the energy he needs to continually boost and fire, nullifying his energy issues.
For that reason, fighting Adler on a map where there're obstacles will aid your chances, as this is the only other thing that can counter his direct attacks. While it is possible to make Adler run out of ammo, this process is incredibly time-consuming as Adler is another of those Ravens who is smart enough to pick his shots rather than fire blindly, especially where there're obstacles. For a lightweight AC, Adler is more resilient to meager attacks than most think, so pick your weapons wisely. Adler's light frame and booster choice means that avoiding attacks becomes almost second nature to him, so slow-firing weapons are out of the question against Adler.
There is no surefire way to defeat Adler, but keep experimenting with different strategies to do so. For an AC ranked at this level, Adler is much more competent than most people give him credit for. His almost human-like combat style serves as a testament to the player's skill at climbing the Arena ladder.
