Eqbal Logo

Algebra, formerly known as Eqbal, is a corporation centered in South Asia (possibly India/Pakistan) known for its strong mass production line.

Information

Integrated industrial conglomerate and de facto leader of the South Asian economic sphere, they are well-known for mass production fueled by almost limitless manpower, and for their unique and imaginative weaponry. The mix of quarreling regions under their control gives them ample opportunities to test their products, ensuring their effectiveness in real battle conditions. Eqbal has historically banded with Omer Science Technology.

As Eqbal, they were one of the six major corporations who initiated the National Dismantlement War. Afterward, they joined the other major corporations in the Pax Economica, a position they still held when the Lynx War broke out. They were able to survive the Lynx War despite sustaining massive casualties. It was after this that they re-branded themselves as Algebra and joined the League, rebuilding their power base in the process.

Products

Algebra focuses mainly on close range weapons such as machine guns and shotguns. Their NEXTs are lightweight, highly mobile, and designed for close-range combat, these crafts make up for their lack of defense with both lateral and vertical maneuverability, allowing pilots to strike foes from all angles.

Trivia

• After Eqbal changed to Algebra they had changed the name of their main core the SALAUX, which appeared in Armored Core 4, to SOLUH.
• The subtext on the Eqbal logo reads "Vande Mataram! Sujalam, suphalam, malayaja shitalam, Shasyashyamalamm, Mataram! Shubhrajyothsna pulakitayaminim Phullakusumita drumadala shobinim. Suhasinim sumadhura bhashinim, Sukhadam varadam, Mataram!" These are verses from the poem "Vande Mataram (Mother, I Salute Thee,)" found in the novel Anandamath by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. The poem has been adopted as the national song of India.
