"Ambush Sphere Invasion Force" is a mission in Armored Core: For Answer.
Briefing[]
This is your mission
This request has come in from the Bernard and Felix Foundation. They want you to take out the enemy forces assaulting Omer's Sphere.
Some bigshot at the BFF has drawn up the mission plan this time. So, you'd better listen up.
Right now, the enemy forces are moving through White End towards the Sphere.
Blast through their rear column using the VOB, and take out as many units as possible on the way. Once you've penetrated the front line, turn around and engage the survivors; so the plan says.

Overview[]
The mission's objective is to boost past enemy forces using a VOB and eliminating them. These consist of both a ground and air force. The player initially fights the ground forces that spawn from transport vehicle. After these units are destroyed, a large aerial force attacks the player
Hard Mode differences: An Arms Fort Land Crab joins the enemy forces attacking the Sphere. It must be destroyed in addition to the rest of the enemy forces.

Walkthrough[]
Armored Core For Answer Ambush Sphere Invasion Forces
The player starts the mission behind the enemy squads using a VOB. Take down as many enemies as possible using a pair of rifles or assault rifles; a single shot will destroy an helicopter, while the Galaxy needs around three shots.
Once the VOB is depleted, turn the AC and attack the Normals. Then, the remaining Galaxy will arrive and they'll start bombarding you with hi-lasers. Be sure to dodge those shots since they deal more damage to an average NEXT.
Use rifles or machineguns (but in that case you have to get in close engaging the enemies in an aerial fight) to eliminate the remaining Galaxy; they are more vulnerable when they're turning on a side since they cannot shoot.
At last, a squad of attack helicopters will arrive late from your right if you're watching in the opposite direction of The Sphere.
On Hard Mode the strategy is almost the same, but you have to dodge the Land Crab's shots when you're still using the VOB. Then use a blade to destroy it. The rest of the mission remains the same.
Trivia[]
- The mission briefing in the English version is mistranslated; the GA representative states that the Sphere facility belongs to Omer, but it is actually a BFF facility that is being targeted by Omer forces.
- This is the only request coming from BFF in the game.
