The Artificial Intelligence Office (AIO) was an organization set up to ostensibly aid in the development of AI.
Overview[]
The AIO provided the corporations with large amounts of AI technology, similar in quality to that of the Controller. All of their interactions with other groups are through indirect means.
In truth, the entire organization was set up by IBIS as a way to check the development of the corporations and prevent them from crossing the Silent Line.
