Assault Dog is a Special Forces AC that appears in Armored Core 2.
Overview[]
The Assault Dog is a middleweight bipedal AC equipped with anti missile extensions, a back radar, a small rocket launcher, a handheld rifle, a laser blade and an overboost core. Although the unit is equipped with anti missile extensions and an overboost core it is never seen using it in battle.

Strategy[]
Assault Dog isn't too frightening of an enemy although after all the enemies fought in the mission, it could prove harrowing. Be sure to save something for this fight although Assault Dog isn't much of a threat. In general, Assault Dog's weapons aren't frightening, consisting of a blade, small rockets and a rifle. He's far from dangerous, unlike other Special Forces ACs and the area around has quite a bit of room to maneuver. Just hit him with what you have left and he should fall easily enough.
