BB is a Raven appearing in Armored Core 3. His rank is A-2 in the Arena. He is partnered with Ace in the Extra Arena and they hold the title of the highest ranked team. BB was the Nine Breaker in the Arena before he was defeated by Ace. Afterwards, he remains the second-highest ranking Raven in the Arena.
AC Tyrant[]
Tyrant is a heavyweight reverse joint AC equipped with an overboost core, anti-missile extensions, a triple rocket launcher, a grenade launcher, a spread bazooka and a laser blade. An interesting note on AC Tyrant is that it is one of the only ACs in Armored Core 3 to enter battle overweight. However it is still deceptively quick, so a slower AC is likely to be pounded by rockets if not up to the task of evasion. Due to the unit being equipped with OP-INTENSIFY it can fire blade waves and use the back mounted grenade launcher while moving.

Gameplay[]
In-Game Information[]
Even among the A-ranked Ravens he's known for being extremely aggressive. He believes in taking a fight to a high pitch from the get go, in order to bring his opponents to their knees and ensure victory. He's not above cheating to accomplish this.
Strategy[]
True to the description, BB is a pilot that wastes no time and sets off to crush you with overpowering attacks right away, not stopping before you are down. As such, BB's strategy consists mainly of moving slowly and trying to out-damage you. BB opts for an unreasonably heavy AC build that is only functional due to OP-INTENSIFY compensating for its shortcomings.
The best way to beat him is to just equip a fast AC with a machine gun and constantly strafe him. Tyrant's two spread shot weapons are less threatening; the triple rockets can be reasonably dodged at some distance, and spread bazooka is a similar deal but made harder due to the lock-on, so it is best to either stay at longer range or keep the pace to outturn and escape BB's aim. However, what is his most intimidating weapon is the back grenade launcher, which he can use at any time even when flying around. This proves to be an extreme danger that has to be cleanly evaded in order to survive the battle. If not that, defeating BB within the first minute or so is recommended because it is usually around that time that BB will switch to using his grenade launcher which will more often then not, turn the tide of the battle. If you have the firepower to spare, outdamaging him quickly is the way to go - for this purpose, utilize powerful weapons like the KARASAWA. Lastly, Tyrant has low ammo reserves, so it will not take long to exhaust it, provided that you are able to dodge most of the grenades coming your way. If you choose to fight BB in close quarters to exploit Tyrant's limited agility, fighting in a battlefield with ample cover such as Ruin might help with escaping the heavy attacks of this opponent.
However, beware that while BB's midair game and all around piloting is slow, his close range blade work is some of the best in the arena. BB can make amazing come-from-behind victories out of nowhere if he gets the opportunity to pin you near a wall, breaking into your AC with a relentless and almost ridiculously quick series of powerful blows. Never lose track of him or he will punish you heavily. While he is possibly the least challenging of the A-ranked pilots, do not forget he is still an A-ranked pilot.

Etymology[]
The name Tyrant refers to a cruel and oppressive ruler who's rule is absolute, unrestrained by law. Most Tyrants usurp power, taking it by force. The name of BB's AC reflects his own aggressive personality and a preference for overwhelming power.
Trivia[]
- By far, BB is the only Raven throughout the early Third Generation AC games to use a PLOW AC.
