Trivia[]
- The BD-011 MELANDER bears a great resemblance to classic "gun" cores from previous Armored Core games, namely the XCA-00 from first-generation Armored Core, the ECM-XR00 from second-generation Armored Core, and the CCM-00-STO/CR-C75U2 from third-generation Armored Core. This C3 version of the MELANDER noticeably has its geometry cut down to further resemble those pieces from older titles.
- The MELANDER series is likely named for American entomologist Axel Leonard Melander.
