Bamakuru Unit
Barnacle is the unofficial fan name for the spherical wall turret that appears in Armored Core 3.
Overview[]
The Barnacle unit is an unmanned turret half the size of an AC. Its only weapon is a rapid fire rifle which it fires at all intruders. The unit was built by Mirage and placed within the ventilation ducts to act as a deterrent against Controller forces. It can be destroyed fairly quickly given its weak armor.
