BLACK ONE

Black Unknown is a large custom AC resembling Nineball Seraph as it was seen in Armored Core: Brave New World.

Information

Its official name is BLACK ONE, a new generation AC which was created by the Dracone Project that took Thirteen's life. It is remotely controlled using combat AI that utilizes a matrix resonance system made with the remains of Orcs Noir. This unit functions as the commanding machine for the new generation ACs to operate the DARK PHANTOM as a wingman. It is seems to possess a kind of Primal Armor (PA) force field.

In the encounter with Victoria, it was destroyed by Mizuki along with the matrix resonance system and ceased functioning. It is assumed that after that event, it was mass-produced as an “Angel” equipped with the battle data of Cryptonym members.

Trivia

• Although BLACK ONE resembles Nineball Seraph, this unit had no connection with the original since AC Brave New World is part of it's own universe.
• In May 2009, Kotobukiya released a black version of the Nineball Seraph kit named Another Seraph.
• It seems a red painted iteration of BLACK ONE also appeared but it's unknown if it's the same unit or if it is a separate unit altogether.
