With long-range sensors, his strong suit is the long distance fight.

AC Back Stab[]

Back Stab is a middleweight two-legged AC equipped with a sniper rifle, small missile launcher, back radar, and laser blade.

Strategy[]

For veterans of the first Armored Core, Brutus is probably the most dangerous opponent encountered thus far. The biggest reason is that Brutus is a Human PLUS, meaning that he has dramatically improved boost capabilities in comparison to others due to the benefits of it. His Sniper Rifle does dish out a lot of stun meaning that it's easily possible for him to stun lock you. Like many air happy ACs, Brutus is best fought in an Arena that reduces his altitude, the Caverns are good. His weapons aren't too threatening (save for the stun) and with powerful enough ACs, he will die easily. Stay on the move and avoid the sniper rifle as best as possible. He'll fall soon enough. He's not nearly as hard as the other higher levels.

Trivia[]

The Raven's name references the ancient Roman Conspirator Brutus who was a friend of the famous Gaius Julius Ceaser in ancient Rome. The AC's name is a reference to how Brutus was also a friend of Ceaser before double crossing him.
