AC Baby's Breath[]

Middleweight, two-leg AC design that completely forgoes defensive stats in favor of increased attack capability. Unit performs best at mid-range and prefers an aerial combat style supported by its E.O. core.

Strategy[]

While this AC lacks the special abilities that was seen in Ninebreaker, Baby's Breath is still a potent AC to contend with. It will continually fly about while shooting micro missile salvos or bombarding you with its linear rifle, often combining it with its EO core to supplement its firepower. Strangely enough, it never uses the strongest weapon in its arsenal: the grenade launcher, not even when it has run out of ammo on all its other weapons. Nevertheless, Baby's Breath can still give you trouble if you fool around with it.

Baby's Breath is BJ and Toothpick fused into one: almost-permanent flight while raining down fire from above, and being able to avoid attacks effortlessly due to its mobility. Like many of the top VR Arena opponents, Baby's Breath affinity of remaining airborne for long periods along with the lowering and raising of altitude makes it a frustrating target to keep a bead on. However, as the information blurb states, it does indeed have poor durability due to choosing to have mobility with lighter parts. As such, Baby's Breath is vulnerable to most weaponry, though its mobility means slower attacks will be dodged quite easily. Missiles are also not recommended as Baby's Breath does have good missile evasion ability.

Although it never uses its grenade launcher, Baby's Breath's accuracy with its linear rifle is astounding, even fast or agile ACs can have trouble avoiding the shots due to its surgically precise aim. As it thrives best in mid-range, staying farther away from Baby's Breath will help, as the linear rifle becomes less accurate. His micro missiles aren't exactly dangerous, but they can prove to be distracting when dealing with Baby's Breath's linear rifle onslaught. It does come equipped with a blade, although it rarely uses it and only relies on it after it has run out of ammo (barring his GL).

Overall, Baby's Breath will present a challenge to all, even without the special enhancements. While it doesn't retain much of the lethality of the Raven it's based around, underestimating this unit comes at a price.
