The Crest AI AC, which is shortened from Crest Artificial Intelligence AC, is an unmanned AC that appears in Armored Core: Silent Line. It appears during the mission Secure Unexplored Region alongside the Mirage AI AC, if the player manages to kill more than 8 enemies within a short span of time. Despite outnumbering the Raven in combat, it is destroyed alongside the other.
Parts[]
The Crest AI AC is a middleweight bipedal AC equipped with 2 identical back-mounted linearguns, auxiliary radiator extensions, a rifle, a laser blade and an overboost core. The unit is equipped with OP-INTENSIFY, allowing it to fire both back-mounted linearguns while moving and fire blade waves.

Strategy[]
In order to be able to fight this AC (and the other) and get the MISTEYE head part, you must destroy multiple enemies in the mission within a short span of time (which is a rather difficult thing to do considering the enemies are scattered all around the map). Once done, this AC, along with the Mirage AC, will spawn, near the crashed airplane.
There's no real recommended setup to face them, but you will definitely need ammo & AP to be able to take down these units, as their combined firepower can hurt a lot and also prove deadly if they both manage to surround you.
If you choose to go for this AC first, then be sure to fire only when it is assured that you'll hit, this AC is rather agile and has a tendency to go airborne. In terms of durability, however, this unit is rather lacking in defense and AP, so hard-hitting weapons will do great against it. Besides, ACs in missions are not at their full health, so it shouldn't take too long to defeat it.
If you choose to take out the other AC first instead, then be sure to lure this unit away from it, as the whole while it will be pecking away at you with its rifle or linearguns, and you'll be sustaining unnecessary damage.
Melee combat works too, but is not advised as the unit itself is equipped with a blade of its own (and it's also the strongest blade in the game) and it will strike if a chance presents itself, so it's better not to risk it.
