Acquisition[]
- This weapon can be purchased from the Parts Shop for 215,000 COAM after completing the Destroy the Ice Worm mission for the first time.
Users[]
- Unnamed tetrapod AC
- G1 Michigan (LIGER TAIL)
Notes[]
- Its standard attack scatters bombs in a wide arc infront of the AC, while the charged attack focuses them infront of the AC instead. Charging it does not increase attack power, but does potentially increase the total damage dealt against a single target.
- The bombs have a short arming time, and so are still only usable in melee range.
- Because it uses bomblets as its primary method of damage, the TAI-YANG-SHOU is not affected by the melee-specific stats on arm parts and boosters.
- This makes the weapon ideal as a melee option for use on Arms with low Melee Spec, as the weapon will still deal full damage.
- It is the only melee weapon in the game that deals Explosive damage.
- Unlike every other melee weapon, the TAI-YANG-SHOU has no PA Interference stat, making it less effective against Pulse Armor.

Trivia[]
- The TAI-YANG-SHOU is the very first weapon seen used in the Armored Core VI Reveal Trailer, used by an unnamed tetrapod AC to destroy a group of MT's.
- The Chinese word 'TAI YANG SHOU', translates in English as "Hand of the Sun".
