Acquisition[]
The DF-GA-09 SHAO-WEI can be bought from the Parts Shop for 220,000 COAM after progressing through Chapter 3 until the "Attack the Old Spaceport" mission becomes available.
Notes[]
- Unlike most other Kinetic firearms, the SHAO-WEI does not use a magazine system, and instead has an overheating system identical to its handheld counterpart DF-GA-08 HU-BEN and Energy Weapons.
- The SHAO-WEI will overheat after 24 rounds fired straight, a very noticeable difference from the HU-BEN's 120 rounds. However, it cools down much faster than the HU-BEN, making overheating less of an issue when it occurs.
