Dark Rider, known as Pale Horse in Japanese (ペイルホース Peiruhōsu), is a Raven seen in Armored Core: Project Phantasma. He is ranked #3 in the Arena.

AC Pale Horse | Brünnhilde[]
AC Pale Horse
Pale Horse is a lightweight reverse-joint AC equipped with laser cannon weapon arm and a grenade launcher on each back weapon slot. Due to the Human PLUS enhancements of the pilot the unit can fire his grenade launchers while moving. The unit is also capable of ignoring weight restrictions.
The Japanese localization has the AC name as Brünnhilde (ブリュンヒルデ Buryunhirude).
Strategy[]
There is actually a very simple way of defeating this guy:
First, just equip a powerful laser blade, preferably the MOONLIGHT if you managed to import a save from AC1. Equip it either a midweight biped or lightweight biped.
Second, pick an enclosed map like the one with the buildings or the Arena.
And lastly, boost up to the ceiling (or the highest point of the enclosed map) and wait for him (he is sure to follow you). Close in on him and slash him once with the MOONLIGHT (or 2 or 3 times with another blade), he will go down in just one hit (if you are using another blade, you might have to slash him more than once).

- The Japanese version of the AC name is a reference to Brunhild, also known as Brunhilda or Brynhild: a female character from Germanic heroic legend. She may have her origins in the Visigothic princess and queen Brunhilda of Austrasia. In the Norse tradition, Brunhild is a shieldmaiden or valkyrie, who appears as a main character in the Völsunga saga and some Eddic poems treating the same events.
