"Defeat AF Stigro" is a mission in Armored Core: For Answer.
Briefing[]
This is the mission.
The client is GA America. The objective is Interior Union's new maritime Arms Fort, Stigro.
Stigros are equipped with large-scale blades at their front. Therefore, launching a frontal attack on one of them would be tantamount to suicide. Avoid doing so.
That's all.
It's a dangerous mission, but one with a big payday. Let us know.
Enemies[]
- AF Stigro
Dialogue[]
Serene Haze:Commence mission. Destroy the Arms Fort Stigro. His charging attack isn't too complex, but it'll rip you in two if you get hit. So don't. |
Serene Haze:(Hard Mode)What in the-? It's deploying a blade? It's still deadly! Stay out of it's path! |
Serene Haze:Confirmed Stigro has been destroyed. Mission complete. You're a real pro now. |
Strategy[]
Normal Mode[]
Stigro is a basically a very fast, very large boat. It uses a massive laserblade mounted on its prow, as well as missiles that it fires whenever it turns. Because the battle zone, Former Chinese Shanghai, is filled with flooded skyscrapers, it is recommended that Stigro be lured into them. The buildings will reduce the speed of the Arms Fort, and allow damage to be dealt efficiently to it. The mission can be completed very quickly however, by equipping close range weapons, immediately jumping on top of Stigro and firing while it is slowed by the buildings you start on.
Of course, a faster way to eliminate the Stigro is to equip Technocrat rockets as back weapons, and fire three volleys towards the approaching Stigro, as demonstrated by TheGigaBrain.
Hard Mode[]
In hard mode Stigro is able to fire its laserblade in addition to its missiles. Because of the size of the blade, NEXTs should be equipped to hover in the air, preferably with long-duration boosters. The same tactics as normal mode still work however.
