"Defeat the Main ORCA Forces" is a mission in Chapter 4 of Armored Core: For Answer.
Briefing[]
Here's the mission.
Destroy the ORCA forces occupying Big Box.
Big Box is a fortified city that years ago served as GA America's main center of power. However, it was abandoned when the Cradles were built. ORCA saw their opportunity and illegally seized the facility.
ORCA is now operating the BIG BOX defense system, and it has been restored to its peak operating capacity. This was once known as an impregnable fortress. Exercise extreme caution.
We have also requested the help of a rank 3 NEXT, Reiterpallasch. Cooperate with her when carrying out this operation.
You are the only one who can complete this mission. It's up to you to stop this violent organization.

Walkthrough[]
Armored Core For Answer Defeat the Main ORCA Forces
Normal Mode: Wynn D is an essential partner for this mission, given that her weapons and purely made up of Energy based weaponry, giving her an edge against the two Enemy NEXTs given their low resistance to energy weapons. However, her AC is also light-weight and weak to Ballistic weaponry, Vaoh is heavily equipped with this weaponry and will whittle her AP down until she leaves the battlefield early. You can distract Vaoh and his tank AC equipped with gatling cannons and have him focused on you, until she defeats Malzel. It's recommended to bring energy based weaponry, and Vaoh is easily one of the more preferred opponents given his slow and nonexistent resistance to energy. Depending on the loadout of your AC you're likely to have an energy blade, perfect to bring his AP down to 0, or use energy rifles and stay at a long distance firing range. The facility is surrounded by GA Cannons that will deal over 5000 AP damage a shot (more if the AC is less resistant to ballistic). To avoid these cannons, the AC will restrict you from flying around the facility, as their firing range is limited to higher levels, meaning they won't be able to reach you if you stay on the surface of the building, but in exchange you won't be able to fly around bombarding the enemy ACs if you suggested the idea of it.
Malzel will then turn his attention towards you and ignore Wynn, avoid him as much as possible while shooting from a safe distance.
Hard Mode: The details and method of the fight will likely be the same, but assuming that the player has every weapon and AC part will make the mission simple and easier than the first attempt. However, the difference is that the cannons buildings will raise higher than the main facility you're fighting on, therefore, the cannons will reach you and Winn, and you will be unable to hide from the cannons. You can prioritize the cannons first (preferably the ones that are aiming at the facility, meaning you don't have to destroy the ones aiming sideways or the opposite of the building), but this will however leave Wynn to fight Malzel and Vaoh on her own, causing her to die and leave earlier before you destroy the final cannon.
((IMPORTANT: READ KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS FOR ADDITIONAL NOTES))
Note: In accordance to AI behavior, if an Enemy partner AC is destroyed, the other will ignore everything in its surrounding and will focus their fire on you. This applies to Vaoh and Malzel; if you destroy one, the other will prioritize you as their target, serving as an executioner, or a desperate attempt to kill you to jeopardize your tactics.
Known Issues/Bugs[]
Apparently on Hard mode, the mission will not end If Wynn D (your partner) gets struck and killed by Big Box's defensive cannons Prior to killing the last enemy AC standing. Whether you kill Malzel or Vaoh last, they will open a ending Dialog that will force your partner to stop moving, making her an easy target for those cannons, and tear her AP down. This will cause her to interrupt the Dialog and retreat from the battle. Resulting in the mission to never end even if you kill everything around you.
To fix this either 1. you have to let Wynn D Fanchon die early before delivering a final blow to one of the two enemy ACs OR you can destroy the cannons that aim at the facility. That way there will be no interruptions during the ending phase of the mission.
