"Destroy B7" is a mission in Chapter 3 of Armored Core: For Answer.

Briefing

Here's your mission.

You are to target the three Kojima energy plants located on the lowest level of the B7 Deep Mining Facility.

B7 was attacked and is now occupied by Omer forces. Their exact specifications are unknown, but you can expect some serious opposition on the way.

The facility emits high-density Kojima particles. These particles will degrade your Primal Armor and damage your machine. Once the plants are destroyed, we expect the situation to steadily worsen.

You need to eradicate any Omer units that get in your way, infiltrate down to the lowest level of the facility, destroy all the targets and then make your escape at maximum speed.

Overview

Armored Core For Answer Destroy B7

The goal is simple, destroy all three reactors and escape the ensuing blast. On Hard Mode, you'll encounter constant Kojima radiation. All the enemies are shell based, so ballistic defence is useful here.

The mission begins with you in the air, falling towards the first corridor. After clearing out the normals here, make your way to the end of the corridor and descend the column. On Hard Mode, you'll be informed of the radiation and you will subsequently begin to take damage. When you hit bottom, several normals will be downrange. After clearing those out, you will progress to a large hall. There are three ways to proceed. The passages left and right lead to shallow reactors while the passage at the far end leads to a deep reactor. Destroy them in any order and you will receive a warning that the plant must be evacuated immediately, due to the imminent meltdown.

On the way back up, blast doors will seal all points of travel. Simply destroy these and proceed to the exit. After returning to the end of the initial corridor you fell to, the mission will end.

Note that each reactor shaft has a connecting pipe connecting it to the adjacent reactor. Using these to get around saves time and AP lost from climbing back out of the shaft and into the main hall. The shallow reactors have these pipes at the base, whilst the deep reactor houses the pipe about halfway down.

Dialogue

Serene Haze:Commence mission. Destroy the three Kojima energy plants at the lowest level of the facility.

Serene Haze:Approaching the facility's lowest level. Kojima particles are extremely dense in this area; your Primal Armor can't protect you here. Keep a close eye on your damage levels.

Serene Haze:(Hard Mode) I'm detecting incredibly high levels of Kojima particles here... You get it? This is a race against the clock. You don't have a second to spare.

Serene Haze:Kojima energy plant destroyed. Two more to go.

Serene Haze:Kojima energy plant destroyed. One more to go.

Serene Haze:Confirmed all targets destroyed. (Sirens) Evacuate immediately! Detonation imminent! Barrier doors closing. Enemy reinforcements confirmed. Facility defenses coming online. Doesn't matter. Just blast through them. Prioritize your escape.

Serene Haze:One minute to detonation.
