Briefing[]
Your services are required to resolve a problem concerning Crest's bioengineering lab. The facility is actually a cover for their ongoing research into germ warfare.
From what we've uncovered, the toxin in question is at an early stage of development and can only survive when sealed in protective canisters.
However, once fully developed, the toxin will be virtually indestructible. We must act now while it's vulnerable. Destroy all germ toxin canisters within the facility.
We'd also like to cripple the lab's operating capabilities. Destroy whatever you can, but remember that the germ canisters take priority.
Once the alarm is triggered, the canisters retract into protective housing and all lab doors are sealed. You must act quickly.

Walkthrough[]
You'll be raiding the Ruglen Laboratory to destroy clusters of germ canisters. You'll be up against ECM units, so you should bring EOs or Orbits, which will target enemies regardless of locks. ECM canceling appears to only affect your radar and not the ability to lock.
Regardless of which canister the "target" designator is pointed at, you'll have to destroy every canister in that cluster. Once one canister in a cluster has been attacked, you only have a short amount of time to destroy the rest of the cluster before they are retracted out of your reach, and if this happens, you fail the mission. Once the first canister has been destroyed, you have five minutes to destroy every canister and then escape.
To earn an S-rank, you'll need to clear the mission in around a minute and a half while keeping your repair costs below roughly 5500 (the exact time and repair amount is unknown); just moving fast isn't enough. Use a midweight so you won't take too much damage, ignore the enemies, and run from room to room using rockets on the canisters, moving around instead of stopping to aim, and you'll succeed with some practice.
Trivia[]
- You'll be awarded 1000 credits for every Gibbon you destroy, and 500 for every Hawkmoth and Noisome Fly.
- The KWX-OC-22 back part can be unlocked during the mission. To unlock the part, destroy all enemy units and germ canisters.
