Synopsis[]

Briefing[]
The other day, one of our special transports crashed while flying over
the Naglarder area. Satellite images show the wreck near the center of
a giant crater called "Big Hit".
We are not worried about the cargo, but the problem is records of our
transactions are stored in the transport's computer. They are encrypted
but not absolutely safe.
Unconfirmed reports put a Murakumo detachment in the area. You must
completely destroy the nose section holding the recorder.
Destroy all Murakumo on sight.
If you let even one of them escape, your mission will fail. Be sure to
shoot them all down.

Armored Core Destroy Plane Computer
This is a bit of a tough mission if you're not prepared. There will be quite a number of enemies to deal with and you will also have to fight an AC. The MTs in this mission are much more mobile than the previous ones and you may not always guarantee a hit with your weapons. Thus, it is recommended to bring high ammo type weapons for this mission. The Karasawa is viable but don't waste it all on the enemies as you will have to deal with an AC later.
The 'target', which is the nose of the plane, is marked out on the map, you just need to destroy it.
Once all the MTs are taken down, Kamui Mizuho will show up in his Kamui mk17 AC. You have to destroy him to complete the mission. Compared to the previous enemy ACs fought beforehand, Kamui mk17 is quite a tough nut to crack. He also has weapons that can deal significant amounts of damage so don't toy around with him. Should you have a back weapon like a missile launcher or a large missile, use it on him and he will go down rather quickly. The Karasawa works too, but make sure he doesn't manage to dodge your shots.
The enemies in this mission do have rather moderate damage output, so it is better to have a well-armored AC for this mission.
Trivia[]
- It is possible to destroy Mizuho Kamui's Barracuda transport plane after he left it, but doing so brings no additional reward.
- You get an additional 500 if all parts of the downed plane are destroyed.
