Briefing[]
We've located a Union stronghold in the Alba Moor. Preparations are underway to wipe it out.
We'll begin the assault with a barrage of long-range missiles, followed by a massive ground offensive.
In order to succeed, the launch vehicles need time to get into position and unleash their payload.
Keep the stronghold's defenses occupied until the launch vehicles are ready to strike, once they do, our ground forces will take over.

Walkthrough[]
This mission can and most likely will be very difficult. You need to be quick on your feet to avoid the barrage of enemy fire. While enemies respawn, it is not advisable to keep them alive as killing them provides a temporary respite from fire. Also your allies provide some support fire, but they will most likely be killed by the overwhelming odds of enemies; it is likely that the burden of the mission will soon fall onto you and your fellow Raven consort if you brought one. After the time runs out, you need to get to the escape point in time. This mission may take multiple times to succeed but the MWG-KARASAWA is worth it. Note that the KARASAWA can only be obtained by doing this mission directly after Destroy Gun Emplacements.
Your best bet is to use a high AP AC along with an ECM inside (preferably MWI-EM/15 or KWI-EM/10) and a missile interception extension. Having OP-INTENSIFY can give you a little more percentage of succeeding with the boost enhancement for getaways. Start by boosting backwards reaching the yellow area boundary line. Using the ECM inside, look up and dispense one at a time (until the released pod explodes). Note that you should stay put at one spot and keep your ECM close to you. The ECM prevents jets from locking onto you which can block missiles homing in on you. Doing this, you have given yourself about two minutes free from missile attacks. Hence that ECMs can only stop missiles (well for this mission) but ground MTs that shoot plasma beams can still aim at you, so it is best to check around your area without moving around as much. The MTs are bigger threat and can dodge unlike the jet fighters so try to take care of the ground units first. If you are out of ECMs, you have to fight the best you can for at least another two and a half minutes. Turning on your extensions can intercept most missiles, and dodging the rest is all up to you.
Alternatively, take a stock of inside anti-missile decoys if you need extra precaution against the air-to-land missile barrages. If you are proficient at multi-target dodging, take a light or a hover AC for increased general maneuverability. Such AC will also help you control the engagement to an improved degree, moving in and out of the enemy range as needed while avoiding being surrounded.
For weapons, lighter and faster armament is recommended. Hand weapons such as standard rifles or machine guns should do the job well enough, packing enough ammo and accuracy to keep shooting down incoming enemy waves. For back weapons, small missile launcher will be just as good, possessing sufficient damage and ammo combined with good tracking ability that will seek out enemies even past the mist cover of the conservation area. For the left hand, a shield is going to help you survive and is probably the best option (especially if you have a large energy surplus on your AC); no left weapon is going to do much here (unless you are an extremely skilled blader).
Apple Boy proves to be an especially useful consort for this mission. With his skills, he is good both at destroying the jets as well as avoiding damage to himself, making him exceptionally helpful at ensuring his and yours survival.
When the time is up, boost back to the escape point, and the KARASAWA is yours.
To S rank this mission is relatively challenging. You must not bring a consort as well as avoid all the missiles and cannon shot that you can. Especially the latter as they are more dangerous to you than the missiles. Bring the VREX-F/ND-8 along with 2 CWM-S60-10. They can reliably take out all the enemies in this mission with only 2 missiles per each.
