The Enforcement System is an AI that manages the Planetary Closure Administration. Its mainframe is located in Depth 3 of Watchpoint Alpha in Rubicon 3's Central Ice Field region.[1][2]
Biography[]
The Enforcement System is the PCA's managing AI that issues orders or authorizes certain actions to PCA military forces. This decision-making process is referred to as "rendering verdicts". The Enforcement System bases its verdicts on codes submitted to it by PCA troops.
Craft[]
AB08: NEPENTHES[]
The AB08: NEPENTHES is a heavy defense platform used by the Planetary Closure Administration's Enforcement System to defend Watchpoint facilities from intrusion. Upon detecting intruders, it will use its six large laser cannons, as well as its plasma missile banks to attempt to destroy enemies.
AAP03: ENFORCER[]
The AAP03: ENFORCER is an autonomous defense unit used by the Enforcement System to defend Watchpoint Alpha from intrusion. It has two operating modes: "Defense Mode" and "Termination Mode".
In "Defense Mode", the ENFORCER is a short-legged bipedal walker equipped with a large laser cannon on its right shoulder, supplemented by a 10-cell missile launcher on left shoulder. In this form, the ENFORCER relies on long range attacks to destroy enemies at range, and it uses its high mobility and jumping power to evade direct enemy confrontations.
If a threat cannot be eliminated by Defense Mode, the ENFORCER can switch to "Termination Mode": the two large prongs on its front fold down to become legs, its Defense Form legs transform into its arms, and it now uses its dorsal laser cannon as a handheld weapon, transforming the ENFORCER into a tall humanoid combat form better suited for close-range combat. Its primary weapon in this form is the large laser cannon on its right hand, which not only retains its long-range firepower, but also doubles as a large laser blade emitter to deal with enemies in melee range. The left arm carries both a pulse gun for mid-range suppression, and also a pulse shield emitter that enhances its defense against attacks from the front. Termination Mode retains the use of the Defense Mode's missile launcher, rounding out its ranged attack abilities.
UNIT[]
- R-Arm Unit: LASER CANNON/BLADE (in Termination Mode)
- L-Arm Unit: PULSE GUN and PULSE SHIELD (in Termination Mode)
- R-Back Unit: LASER CANNON (in Defense Mode)
- L-Back Unit: MISSILE LAUNCHER
AC IA-C01: EPHEMERA[]
One intact IA-C01: EPHEMERA model was recovered by the PCA, and is controlled directly by the Enforcement System as the PCA's last line of defense against anyone attempting to traverse Watchpoint Alpha and reach Institute City. This AC is stationed at Depth 3 of the Watchpoint, where the Enforcement System's mainframe and a defensive laser grid system are located.
