Carlyle is a Raven who appears in Armored Core 2: Another Age.

Information[]
Carlyle is seen in the final mission of AC2AA Free Rapture Orbit Elevator. He works alongside Antares, and despite outnumbering the Raven, is killed alongside Antares.
AC Wonder Raid[]
Wonder Raid is a lightweight AC unit equipped with a rifle, grenade launcher, laser blade, turn booster extensions and an overboost core. Because he doesn't have Human PLUS he has to stop to fire his grenade launcher.
Strategy[]
Wonder Raid is really more annoying than actually dangerous. His affinity for bunny hopping continually & chipping away at you with his rifle makes him rather frustrating to deal with, but his weaponry overall is pretty weak & his AC is quite fragile. He rarely uses his grenade launcher (he usually uses it if he’s the last man standing or if he’s run out of rifle ammo) since he’s not Human PLUS & therefore has to kneel to use it.
Unlike Antares, Carlyle tends to stay on the ground, bunny hopping continuously to avoid damage. He will usually try to get behind you while attempting to blade you. For this reason, tank ACs aren’t the best to use against him as he can easily outturn & flank them. Instead, using a mobile AC that can keep up with him is the way to go. Since he’s a lightweight, Carlyle doesn’t have the durability to keep up for long battles, so he falls easily to weapons with high fire rate such as his own rifle, sniper rifles & rockets.
It’s not advised to use missiles as he does have good anti-missile interception on his core & his constant bunny hopping makes it difficult for the missiles to properly track him. Despite being a somewhat aggressive blade combatant, it’s still possible to beat him in a blade duel. His laser blade has the reach to clip you at a distance but lacks power, outclassing him with a stronger laser blade is another viable way of beating him.
If you choose to engage him first, then be sure to end the fight quickly as Antares’ weapons are more potent & dangerous than his. Once he’s out of the way, you can focus on Antares entirely.
