Flip-Flop is an AI Ranker in the Last Raven VR Arena. Its rank is 15.
AC 0-Micron[]
Middleweight, two-leg design equipped with a shield and various solid round weaponry. Unit's firepower effectively raises opponent's temperature levels. Equipped with a back-mounted grenade launcher, a multi-missile launcher, anti-missile extensions, a linear rifle and an energy shield, the unit has OP-INTENSIFY which enables it to boost for prolonged periods and ability to use its back-mounted grenade launcher on the fly.
Strategy[]
An arguable upgrade to Mr. Keepless, Flip-Flop is also another challenge on the middle rung of the VR Arena. Although it fights somewhat similar to Mr. Keepless, Flip-Flop has something the former doesn't: Overboost. It will frequently use its OB to strafe you while flying and get a clear shot at you. Just like Mr. Keepless, Flip-Flop's most dangerous weapon is his grenade launcher, but unlike the former, will only fire a shot if it's guaranteed. It is quite accurate with it from range, so staying closer will help.
Flip-Flop's other weapons, his linear rifle and multi-missiles, are not particularly noteworthy as his missiles can be avoided easily, and Flip-Flop only sporadically uses the linear rifle. He also uses an energy shield that doesn't exactly help out in defense, and the missile interceptor extensions are ineffective in deterring incoming missiles. This leaves Flip-Flop with his grenade launcher as his only chance for success. Even with his impressive accuracy, it fires very slowly, giving you ample time to move out of the way before he can pop off another shot.
Due to his frequent bursts of OB, Flip-Flop can be rather annoying to target, as he constantly flies about. However, his choice of boosters greatly limit his normal boosting speed, making him a somewhat easy target to hit despite his flying. For that reason, missiles are highly effective to use against Flip-Flop, as his missile interceptors don't help and he doesn't have enough speed or time to quickly evade them. In addition, his shield doesn't do him much favors in alleviating the damage he sustains.
In summary, while Flip-Flop's fighting style resembles Mr. Keepless, his overall design and movements have the same problem as Zorro-X: over-reliance on one weapon type with nothing else to fall back on, and flawed logic.

Trivia[]
- 0-Micron is similar to the AC seen in the Armored Core 2 opening movie with the exceptions of a few weapons, since the KARASAWA Mk. II was released only in the PSP remakes.
- Its parts are different from those between the PS2 and PSP versions. Although the arms used for the original AC are available and the KARASAWA MK2 is also available in the PSP remake, it still uses the linear rifle.
