The Fortress Artificial Intelligence AC, which is shortened to Fortress AI AC, is an unmanned AC that appears in Silent Line: Armored Core. It is encountered during the mission Secure Fortress NK-432 and it attempts to thwart The Raven's attempt to destroy the mainframe computer. But thanks to the help of Eclair, The Raven manages to destroy both the mainframe computer and the AC itself.

The Fortress AI AC is a reverse-joint legged AC equipped with system recovery extensions, an orbit cannon back weapon, a laser rifle, a laser blade and an Overboost core. The unit also has OP-INTENSIFY, enabling it to fire blade waves.

Strategy[]
This is actually a rather risky battle, considering the amount of damage you have most likely already sustained from the earlier part of the mission, a fight with this AC may possibly kill you. If you're already at the point where facing the AC itself may kill you, it's better to empty whatever it is you have in your weapons on the mainframe computer itself.
However if you do choose to destroy the AC, just be sure that you have not sustained too much damage from the preceding part of the mission. There's no fixed setup on how to face the AC here, but if you don't manage to destroy it within a short time, Eclair will show up to help and you can just let her finish the job - her aggressiveness makes her an effective partner. But if you do wish to destroy the AC quickly, an E.O. core along with the dual back mounted Orbit cannons work great against it. Missiles work too, but his machine has missile cancellation pulses optional part equipped on it so multi-lock missiles won't be that effective. Preferably the triple missiles work great as he is not exactly at full health.
If you intend to take out the AC, be sure to avoid his laser rifle shots as well as that weapon (it's a mini-sawa) has an extremely high fire rate in addition to high projectile velocity to make up for its lack of raw damage power, so getting caught in that chain of attacks will prove deadly. Not to mention the area you face it in is quite cramped, which leaves you wide open for a hell of a beating. Defense is a must to avert this threat. Utilize the pillars for cover. The orbit cannons don't pose much of threat and be sure to avoid getting clipped by its blade up close as this can deal quite a lot of damage too. This enemy also have a tendency to back itself up against one of the corners of the room, making distance control remarkably easy; your task then will be mostly to dodge horizontally while trading shots. Peekshots prove to be fairly effective.

- Defeating the AC is optional although it is one of the requirement to unlock the CAW-TITAN4 part, but destroying the main computer is a must to complete the mission. But if you find the AC too bothersome, it is better to take it out.
