Freedom, known as Flame in Japanese (フレイム fureimu), is a Raven in Armored Core: Silent Line. His rank is E-13 in the Arena.

A Raven who is unable to fight to his true potential unless he feels cornered or threatened. The more dangerous a situation becomes, the better he performs. His matches are popular, as they often feature last minute comebacks.

AC Fireburst | Gordy Reversal[]
Fireburst (known in Japanese as Gordy Reversal, ゴーディリバーサル go-diriba-saru) is a middleweight quadruped AC equipped with an overboost core, energy pack extensions, dual back mounted Gatling guns and machine gun weapon arms. This AC is designed specifically to unleash a torrent of bullets to rip through an opponent's AC while overheating it.

Strategy[]
Despite the AC build and strategy, this opponent is actually quite easy to defeat. He will continually glide toward you while letting loose an unrelenting barrage of bullets--these bullets are surprisingly easy to avoid as his accuracy with his chain gun is actually quite poor due to their slow fire rate in comparison to regular chain guns, not to mention he tends to use his machine gun arms on the 2nd setting, which fires more rounds but is slower and has very poor tracking. Freedom also has poor trigger discipline, expending his ammo at a rapid pace with little regard for precision. With these traits becoming readily apparent in battle, Freedom's threat level drops dramatically, allowing you to evade his attacks with just some modicum of effort.
With Freedom on the fragile side, any weapon is usable on him, as his defenses are paper thin. So long as you stay out of his line of fire, he should barely pose any threat.
Trivia[]
- In addition to his Arena description, the Japanese bio also mentions that his AC's flashy colors are meant to push himself to his best.
- Freedom's Fireburst is a very similar AC to Chain Impact's Valiant from the previous game, both being quadrupeds armed solely with machine guns and chainguns (the only notable difference being the dual chaingun unit of Fireburst in the place of two separate chainguns of Valiant).
