Friedman Ray is a freelance journalist who has written books about the Lynx War and has connections with corporate brokers, Lynx, and fixers. He experienced the National Dismantlement War in his youth and graduated from a college in the Cedar Rapids Colony. Friedman's career started at a local radio station, then he moved through various media before becoming a freelancer after the Lynx War and focusing on military affairs. By the time the ORCA Brigade had declared war on the League of Ruling Companies, he is 36-years-old and writing A New Order of "NEXT", a book detailing the world up to that point as well various historical events, figures, and concepts since before the coming of Pax Economica. Friedman hopes the book will enlighten Cradle citizens of the changes happening in the world.[1]
He is the point of view character of Armored Core: A New Order of "NEXT", which is written as though it is Friedman's new book itself.
