G6 Red is an Armored Core pilot active on the planet Rubicon 3 during the Coral War. He is a member of Balam Industries' combat unit the Redguns, and Balam's mercenary liaison for the likes of independent mercenaries such as C4-621.
He is ranked 27/F in ALLMIND's virtual Arena.
Biography[]
Red is an inexperienced, but enthusiastic member of the Redguns, encouraged to join after hearing about the exploits of G1 Michigan during the Jupiter War when he was a child and was able to attain his dream, the moment he stood attention in front of the squad. He has the same loud and gung-ho military attitude Michigan has, perhaps to better emulate him, but lacks the gruff and nonchalance of his idol.
While he appears in several mission briefings for Balam-affiliated missions, he is only encountered as an opponent in the story once.
Alea Iacta Est[]
G6 Red appears as an optional encounter near the end of MIA, in the elevator shaft just before the ruins of NEPENTHES. He is cornered by a group of Arquebus MTs, and requests for C4-621's help upon dropping down the shaft.
After eliminating them, he initially expresses his thanks towards 621, but the trauma of being the only survivor of his unit causes Red to snap, and attack them. He then goes on an emotionally-charged tirade, mourning the loss of all his friends and blaming it all squarely on G13 Raven, as he believes their cursed number is the source of the Redguns' downfall and will continue to follow them as long as the G13 number is alive.
He is reluctantly taken down by 621, continuing to echo the curse of the Redguns.

Red's camouflaged green medium biped AC, HERMIT, is made of 011 MELANDER frame from Balam. It uses a handgun in its right hand, a bazooka in its left, and has two missile launchers, a normal and a split one, mounted on its back units.
One big design flaw is the FC-006 ABBOT is totally not built for using missiles, but there is not enough EN for installing the better FC-008 TALBOT.

Gameplay[]
In ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, G6 Red is an NPC that can be fought in the Records division of the Arena and a mission, “MIA”, in Chapter 5 of the ALLMIND branching story path. Encountering him in this mission is optional. At this point in the story, most of the corporate leaders have been eliminated and there is mass confusion amongst the surviving soldiers on all remaining sides. He is initially being attacked by Arquebus MTs in the midst of the chaos occurring in this part of the story. He expresses relief to see Raven at first and seeks the player’s help in taking down the Arquebus soldiers. He notes that the player has always done hard work for him and did a good job carrying out missions for him/Balam, but amidst the mass confusion occurring, G6 Red succumbs to severe combat stress and attacks the player, mentioning that Commander Michigan and the other Redguns have all died except Raven.

Trivia[]
- To highlight his status as one of the Redguns' youngest and lowest-ranked AC pilots, his emblem is nonintimidating compared to the likes of Michigan's lion insignia and Iguazu's beetles emblem.
- It's not hard to understand why Red lost his mind when he was in Watchpoint Alpha.
- All other Redgun members are killed in action, he is the only one left.
- Arquebus has taken control of the Coral and defeated Balam, no backup or resupply for him.
- The situation becomes much awful as unmanned weapons controlled by Allmind start attacking Arquebus forces.
- His skill and the performance of HERMIT is not enough for him to survive, he is running out of repair kits at the same time.
- There is nowhere to escape, the entrance is guarded by Pater who is now piloting a high mobility LC.
