Gatekeeper
Gatekeeper is the unofficial fan name for a manned bipedal MT that appears in Armored Core 2: Another Age.
Overview[]
The Gatekeeper is a manned bipedal MT, around the size of an AC. Its armed with a dual machine gun with one mounted on each side of the head and a grenade launcher mounted in the front of the unit. They attack with the grenade launcher from long range and with the machine gun up close. The unit has high AP but is pretty much immobile as it moves very slowly. It also has shields in the front that reduces the damage it takes when attacked from the front so it is faster to destroy it from the back. Like the Triumph it also appears to only have a lower body.
