The Giga Cannon is an Ultimate Weapon (known as Overed Weapons in Japan, this one is known as the Huge Cannon) in Armored Core V. These weapons take the place of the bay units and only have a limited time use per engagement (one charge per sortie).
Use[]
This functions like a massive Sniper Cannon and is extremely powerful. Unlike these cannons however, the AC does not zoom in when so aiming is a bit more difficult. Also when the weapon is charging, the AC is immobile which can be a problem if fighting a nimble AC. The weapon however does produce a lot of splash damage and is very useful.

The Giga Cannon is awarded after completing Story Mission 9.
Trivia[]
- This weapon has similarities to the Railgun energy weapon type from previous Armored Core titles.
- This weapon was used in one event in the story missions. Mainly for Chief.
