The Giga Missile (Huge Missile in Japan) is an Ultimate Weapon in Armored Core V. These weapons take the place of the bay units and only have a limited time use per engagement (one charge per sortie).
Tips[]
The Giga Missile is a fairly low risk/high reward weapon, due to its long range and above average splash damage radius. It is entirely possible to kill two enemy ACs at once. A good tip is to have a support focused teammate carry a target gun for you, and attack high value targets at extreme range with impunity. However, it should be noted that this weapon completely immobilizes the user while being charged, further solidifying its status as a ultra heavy support weapon.
In Verdict Day all UWs reduce the generator output and jam the FCS of the user after their activation period ends, this emphasizes the intent for UWs to be last resort measures. The Giga Missile's post-activation effect is the least severe of all UWs, letting ACs with a high EN output recover energy and thus remain boosting and not become a sitting duck. This confirms the weapon's role as a support unit rather than a finisher.
Trivia[]
This is easily the largest missile weapon that can be used by the player in the entire series, although it may not be the largest missile EVER in the series.
