AC Hammer | Air Hammer[]
AC Hammer
Grand Chief's AC Hammer (Air Hammer in Japanese, エア ハンマー) is a tank-legged AC designed to rain down incredible numbers of missiles and in an open Arena can only defeated by the most skilled of players. Armed with the most powerful weapon in the game, the TITAN high explosive missile launcher, vertical launch support missiles, a multi-missile launcher and missile launching weapon arms which toggle between heat and small, and an overboost core Hammer possesses enough firepower to end the existence of any AC in short order. The units mobility and energy capacity are also strengthened due to being equipped with OP-INTENSIFY. As a result AC Hammer is surprisingly air capable and can usually stay in the air without landing long enough to tear your AC apart. The incredible degree of armor he possesses is another, daunting issue in it's own right.

Gameplay[]
In-Game Information[]
This Raven is a firm believer in a well-armored AC equipped with heavy weaponry. His unit is able to withstand a great deal of punishment and meshes well with his combat style, which is to bring a daunting amount of firepower to bear as fast as possible.
Strategy[]
A rare tank that does not employ cannon weapons, Hammer can be a very tough AC to beat. Grand Chief is the final B Ranker and he stands for mean business, opting for crushing the rival with extreme force as soon as possible. In many ways, Hammer is an upgraded version of Bremen's Multi Box: a heavier, tougher AC with even more missile firepower and energy reserves, that prefers to seek high ground before unleashing its overbearing offence. In an open battlefield, Grand Chief is going to ascend all the way up (and he can go far with the OP-INTENSIFY energy boost) and rain death on you, including the ever-dreadful large missiles. That makes him prohibitively hard to approach, while sniping him is going to be rather risky under the pressure of tons of missiles coming your way.
Therefore, one of the best ways to deal with this AC is to pick the Parking Lot arena, and simply wait out his missile attacks. He runs out of ammo pretty quickly, allowing you to take him out at your leisure. The large missiles can be lured into pillars or other cover, and multi-missiles are prone to blow up on the ceiling. A fast AC with missile interception core, antimissile extensions, and decoy dispensers (especially effective against the arm missiles) would probably be the best. Ironically, Hammer has little missile defence of its own, consisting only of the core-mounted AMS gun.
One way or another, although this guy throws a ton of offensive weight upfront, he runs out of steam quickly. If you can outlast his missile deluge (preferably by arming yourself with the missile countermeasures to the brim), he will be left at your mercy.
