Briefing[]
Raven, we'd like you to bring operations at Vertex's main hydroelectric plant to a standstill.
Both sides in the ongoing conflict are almost equally matched at present, that will change if we can cripple the enemy's ability to produce energy.
Vertex is well aware of how important this facility is to their cause, and they have units in place to ensure its continued operation.
Head to the plant and destroy all of the designated targets. Clear out as soon as the objective has been achieved.
Walkthrough[]
The following information is "gray area" content — it may not be completely factual, and/or falls under YMMV territory.
The enemies here, as well as in the extra mission does shell damage so high shell defense is recommended. It is not required to kill enemy targets in the first mission, but if the Player chose to take on the extra mission, in that mission they must defeat the enemies. It is recommended to leave the last two generators near the escape route elevator for last if the Player wants to take on the extra mission, as this will get you to the escape route in under 30 seconds. While taking out the energy reactors the player will notice shots coming from the walls and ground. These are human soldiers and they will spawn infinitely. They do very little damage but if the Player takes too much time in an area, they can chip a decent amount of your AP away. If the player is having trouble with a high max AP at the start of the extra mission, it is recommended to not go inside the rooms with the reactors, but instead shoot them from the door way. A good boosting system and generator may also be wise as one of the elevators is broken, and the player must fly up to the second and 3rd level. Finally it is also recommended for the player to bring an arm blade, as it is the most efficient way of dealing with the enemies in both the main mission and the extra mission.
Extra mission: Sinus Airstrip.
The mission is to eliminate the jamming towers surrounding the area so a ship from The Alliance may land. The Player starts out with whatever AP and ammo they had upon completing the first mission, and there is a time limit making things more difficult. The enemies are not powerful, but if the player had a hard time in the last mission they can prove enough to destroy the Player. The Player's radar will be blocked, and if the Player's AC has low VS ECM, they may not be able to lock on. It is recommended to either have a high performance head with maximum VS ECM tuning, or a back radar to compensate for the head's lack of VS ECM. The mission is complete upon destroying all towers, all owl MTs, and all anti air cannons. The cannons can be found on the sides of the cliff walls surrounding the Player with more towards the back of the map.
