In comparison with the other defensive heavy heads, the Hd-G-A88 is able to have overall more balanced stats, which results in it being frequently used when the Hd-U-xx are not viable. It does have quite low Scanning Performance, so there is some tradeoff for its otherwise jack-of-all-trades stats.
