- Regulation 1.03.1: decreased EN Load. Energy Firearm Spec now applies to this weapon
- Patch 1.05:
- Fixed a bug with LIGHT WAVE CANNON "IA-C01W3: AURORA" where the energy balls released from an attack weren’t all being rendered
- Attacks from LIGHT WAVE CANNON "IA-C01W3: AURORA" now trigger hit detection based on the player on the receiving end of the attack
Acquisition[]
- A copy of this weapon for the Right Back unit can be found on a Parts Container in the "Reach the Coral Convergence" mission. The container is located on top of a mid-sized building to the rightmost part of the map, near the location where the two target AC's are fighting PCA and Arquebus MT's. After acquiring the weapon, a copy for the Left Back unit can be bought from the Parts Shop for 340,000 COAM.

Notes[]
- The IA-C01W3: AURORA is the only missile launcher in the game that has a PA Interference stat, making it more effective per missile against Pulse Armor defenses compared to other missile types.
- Unlike the majority of missiles that deal Explosive damage, the AURORA deals Energy damage instead.
- Despite being a missile launcher, the AURORA is affected by the EN Firearm Specialization stat, improving its reload time and (maybe) damage.
- It regularly misses at mid–long range, but rarely misses at ~50m (close range).
