Index Dunham (インデックス・ダナム) is an Armored Core pilot of the Rubicon Liberation Front.
He is ranked 28/F in ALLMIND's virtual Arena.
Biography[]
Long before the events of the game, Dunham was a blue-collar worker involved in construction of one or more of the massive Grid sectors sprawling across Rubicon. After the Fires of Ibis destroyed most of Rubicon's industrial sector, he was inspired by Father Dolmayan's Coral Mysticism, and became a Coral Warrior. Taking the callsign "Index" as one of the RLF's elite AC pilots, Dunham would first fight against the PCA's efforts of planetary closure, later coming to clash with the resurgent corporations and their coral survey.
Index Dunham engages Balam Industries forces when their Redgun squadron and Raven attack the Gallia Dam Complex in preparation for the corporations' assault on The Wall. During the battle, Dunham proclaims the nobility of the RLF and asks Raven why they, an independent mercenary, would help the likes of "corporate vultures." Despite his efforts, the Balam forces ultimately succeed in their objective.[1]

Upon his defeat, he curses the attackers and apologizes to Father Dolmayan for his failure.[1]

BURN PICKAXE (バーンピカクス) is a BAWS bipedal BASHO AC model, equipped with the Melinite LITTLE GEM compact bazooka and the MA-E-210 ETSUJIN burst machine gun. As an extension of Dunham's devotion to Dolmayan, his AC uses a color scheme similar to Dolmayan's ASTGHIK.
It is an older AC model noted by G4 Volta as being barely different from a Muscle Tracer.[1]

He is an optional hostile NPC in the mission "Attack the Dam Complex" of ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON. Defeating him rewards the player a Data Log.
He can also be fought in the Arena for a reward of 40,000 COAM and 2 OST Chips.
