Briefing[]
Both Crest and Mirage continue to believe that the Controller's functions must be preserved. They refuse to see the warning signs.
Our resources are stretched to the limit as it stands, but someone needs to take action. The only avenue left to us is rendering The Controller inoperative.
The location of The Controller's core is stored on a mainframe in Mirage's Rehito Laboratory. Past attempts to retrieve this information have all ended in failure.
In order to gain access to the mainframe, you must retrieve three code keys and then enter them into their respective terminals.
Failure is not an option. You must procure the information detailing the core's location.
Enemies[]
- 4 Gibbon MTs
- 9 Glide Cobra Unmanned Weapons
- 9 Quadruped Form M MTs
- Nocturne

Walkthrough[]
It is recommended to bring in some weapon to deal with the MT opposition, and reserve whatever else you want to equip for an AC fight later on.
If you have already played through the Steal the Access Program mission, you should already be familiar with the layout of the area. However, the door right before the hall of lasers is now unlocked where you can retrieve the code keys but the first one can be obtained where you first found the access program. In result, the whole complex is now accessible.
The opposition is surprisingly weak; with good footwork it is not too difficult to deal with the MT force in the complex using only a laser blade. Take some caution around the Gibbons lurking in the key rooms however, as their own blades can hurt a little - but if they whiff on you, they will be easy pickings for a counterattack. Minimize the damage for the upcoming confrontation.
Once all of the keys have been entered and the information obtained, Nocturne will appear to challenge you on your way out. You have to kill him to unlock the exit. Unlike the fight in the Arena, Nocturne relies far less on his Overboost due to the lack of space and uses his shotgun a bit more often, but nonetheless, you must watch out for both his triple rockets and MOONLIGHT blade which can both deal a serious amount of damage and due to OP-INTENSIFY active, he can also throw mid-range energy waves from the latter. A keep-away game is recommended while using heavy-hitting weapons. Because he has a penchant for staying airborne, the fairly small room will restrict his movements somewhat, making him an easy target.
Lastly, after Nocturne is down, you still need to leave the complex's premises, and the enemies back above are going to respawn, so account for that when fighting Nocturne. As long as your AP is not down to critical levels, you should be able to sprint past the enemies - there are just several on your path to the exit - but it does not hurt to have some ammo left just to be sure. Return to the starting point to finish the mission.
