Information[]
Origin: Galef Plant. Male, age: 28.
After a long period of unremarkable performance, his talents seemed to flourish overnight. His reason for the sudden skyrocketing of his skills: an emblem, taken from a downed AC he chanced across in the field. While colleagues cheered him as a symbol of good luck, he began to exhibit increasingly strange behaviour. The origins of the emblem remain unknown. He is defeated by the Lone Mercenary at Galef Plant.
AC: Rotten Fly[]
Jack's Armored Core, Rotten Fly, is a powerful and versatile bipedal model of medium weight. It's equipped with a KE head, KE legs, which provide good mobility, a CE core and CE arms. Rotten Fly is armed with a special, three round burst battle rifle of tremendous power, a front-line laser rifle and a backup mini-gatling.

Trivia[]
- He appears as a reference to Jack Golding from Armored Core V. His AC shares the same general appearance and color scheme, and the emblem of Rotten Fly is a deteriorated versions of Flame Fly's.
- The pilot's and AC's name also seem to reference the book Lord of the flies. In the book, Jack was once rational but never violent only up until he desired nothing than the thrill of a hunt to kill a pig.
- One possible theory for Jack's behavior and change is that he was an early experiment by the Foundation to see if they could transplant the skills/personality of a long dead person into another one. If so, the experiment partially succeeded as Jack's talent "flourished overnight," but resulted in severe mental instability.
- Another theory is that Jack is possessed by the spirit of Jack Golding. While unconfirmed, it is mentioned that upon gaining the emblem he began to act erratic and different, displaying unusual behavior. Also, Flame Fly's emblem had been used by other pilots before, and each acted differently and had increased amounts of rage.[1]
