Blood Lizard is a heavyweight four-legged AC equipped with a multi missile launcher double back weapon, bazooka and the MOONLIGHT laser blade. He launches into battle overweight.
In Japanese his AC name is Short Tongue (ショートタングShōtotangu).
Strategy[]
Blood Lizard will often begin by firing off multi-missiles while flying, before switching to his bazooka. Take care to avoid the missiles as they can cause massive damage if they hit. While his bazooka isn't exactly a strong weapon per se, its fire rate and stun can prove troublesome if he manages to connect with them. Owing to his choice of heavy parts, Blood Lizard's mobility is actually quite laughable, despite his flying. Furthermore, Blood Lizard suffers from energy issues, as evidenced from his POV in match, restricting his flight ability and reducing him to gliding on the ground. With that in mind, Blood Lizard becomes a slow, lumbering target that will readily absorb damage.
As such, most weapons are effective against Blood Lizard, although his choice of heavy parts means he is more resilient towards meager firepower, so it's recommended to use stronger weapons like laser rifles, chain guns, rifles or missiles. As his bazooka's projectile speed makes it rather avoidable, it's also possible to avoid his shots entirely, leaving him helpless to do anything aside from taking damage, making him an easy picking. Though he does have the MOONLIGHT blade, staying out of contact range from him means this threat will be negated entirely.
In conclusion, Blood Lizard is a poor man's Tall Spot. While possessing adequate weaponry, its tactics and loadout simply don't mesh well, making him target practice more than anything else.
