- The LG-011 MELANDER part bears a great resemblance to the CLM-02-SNSK/CR-LH80S2 from 3rd generation Armored Core games. This C3 variant of the Melander especially has its geometry cut down to even more closely resemble these older parts.
- The MELANDER series is likely named for American entomologist Axel Leonard Melander.
