The "Last Raven" (as identified by an unknown party requesting the elimination of the final Pulverizer[1]) is one of the few Ravens still active following the attack of the unmanned suicide weapons at the end of the Navis Conflict. They participate in the 24-Hour War, during which they are assisted by their Operator Sheila Caldwell — the former director of Mirage's Information Department — and the information broker Ed Weisz.
Gameplay[]
They are the main protagonist and player character of Armored Core: Last Raven. Like previous Armored Core player characters, they do not speak and their AC is player-dependent. Their actions and fate in the 24-Hour War also depend on the player's mission choices.
Human PLUS and OP-INTENSIFY are no longer available to the player, so the Last Raven's ACs are one of the very few in the game that exhibit no Human PLUS or OP-INTENSIFY qualities beyond the blade wave capability granted to all ACs starting from Armored Core: Nexus.
In the original PS2 version of Armored Core: Last Raven, the player's ACs and parts may be imported from Armored Core: Nexus and Armored Core: Nine Breaker save files; whereas the Portable version converts Armored Core 3 Portable and Armored Core: Silent Line Portable save files.
Trivia[]
- In all promotional materials for the game, the player Raven is represented by the AC Cascade Range.
