The Mass Blade is an Ultimate Weapon (known as Overed Weapons in Japan) in Armored Core V. These weapons take the place of the bay units and only have a limited time use per engagement (one charge per sortie).
Tips[]
The first thing a player should know is that this UW/OW can easily kill almost anything in one fell hit, in the entire game! While easily being the most destructive (in terms of raw power) of the UWs/OWs, it is also one of the heaviest, and is much more finicky than the Grind Blade in usage. It can only be reliably used at medium range, and it presents a very large target, making you an easy target.

The Mass Blade is awarded after completing Story Mission 9.
Trivia[]
- This is easily one of, if not the, largest part an armored core can equip in the entire series, while also dealing the most single shot damage in the series, by a long-shot.
- In Story mission 07 in Armored Core V, Chief used a Mass Blade during the second phase of the battle. Although he did not equip the weapon itself, he instead fused his machine's arm to a concrete pillar with the same mechanic the mass blade offers, including the overall stats.
- In one of the old changes in ACV, the Mass Blade originally dealt CE based damage.
