The Mega Blade is an Ultimate Weapon (known as Overed Weapons in Japan) in Armored Core Verdict Day. These weapons take the place of the bay units and only have a limited time use per engagement (one charge per sortie).

The Mega Blade behaves very similar to the Grind Blade outside of having less charge capacity, damage and propels the AC forward slightly less than it. It does how ever have longer weapon range than the Grind Blade on both the ground and air and does not purge the left arm of the AC.
