No need to separate Normal Mode from Hard Mode in gameplay sections, and the gameplay section should be written from a gameplay standpoint rather than a story standpoint. Adding story information and context wouldn't hurt, of course. As always, example of this is in Anatolia's merc.
More importantly, is there any major differences between the AC2-AA AC builing from AC3-ACSL AC building? I can't create Schematic Boxes for AC2-AA ACs until I know how AC2-AA ACs are designed in those games. Sorry. Don't have the games myself.
Also, quick question WiKiAN, how did you get that gif for Primal Armor?
Just asking because it'd be sweet to find a way of getting the animations for things such as how Orleans is shown during a mission briefing or how the emblems in AC3/SL are animated.
Any video + any video converter set to gif format.
The idea is to use gifs whenever a static picture isn't enough, like, say, Primal Armor or Quick Boost or OB or even that situation with Orleans. Because of poor net speed, however, gifs should be less than 2mb in size (ideally, 1mb). This would mean that most of the gifs would probably way less detailed than static HD images, but since images are rescaled anyways for article viewing, that shouldn't be much of a compromise.
This isn't really standard practice, but since the tech is available and there's nothing saying we shouldn't use it, I figured that it might be worth a try. It was either that or a slideshow, like Naturopedia or TYPE-MOON Wiki.
Hello Holy Toast, first I would very much like to thank you for your contributions to this wiki! As an artist who is very much interested in gaining as much reference as he can, this is a gold mine. Just went through your contributions, and you have some excellent shots.
I was wondering however if you may be able to get a good 3/4ths front and back shot of a Duminas MT? I don't know if you take requests, but it would be greatly appreciated. I'll even link you to the artwork once it is done :) (with special thanks)
Please let me know if that's at all possible.
And If it isn't too much trouble, i would be interested in some other shots later on of a few key others. We can talk via email if it helps.
Certainly, I'd be up for taking some screenies of a Duminas MT,
I haven't been as active now as I was before on the wiki, but I can most definitely continue working on getting some shots down. The majority of my work went towards Armored Core 3 and Silent Line. I was getting started on Nexus but stalled for a bit.
That I know of, Human PLUS/OP-I was only available in Armored Core 3 and Silent Line. I've been using a cheat engine for cases where I've needed to get images of enemies and locations, but I've confirmed that it's not messing up the information on part lists (confirming through a PRIMA strategy guide).
I think I've read that it's possible to get the same types of modifications with the use of cheat devices though.
I've been getting these names from the following website, I've gone back to check and recognized a lot of the same names as those that were showing up in the enemy lists of AC1, AC2, etc such as AC1's Stork unit.
and used external translators to make sure the names matched up. If I really wasn't sure I looked up the name and was able to find it in 2-3 other Japanese Armored Core pages. If I was able to distinguish the unit between both descriptions, I went ahead and made an enemy page. I stopped making them with the unmanned hover /ceiling battery units though given that there are so many and It was really tough to distinguish them from the descriptions.
I'm a new member to this wiki and I'm currently in the live chat trying to find someone to talk to about the current state of the game but it seems like nobody is on. I'm wondering how active the AC community still is for AC: Verdict Day? I'm also wondering if you would recommend this game to others and why.
I purchased AC: Verdict Day a few weeks ago but haven't had the chance to take part in the online community as of yet. I do know that there are other members on the wikia who have been working on AC:VD pages over the last couple days who may be able to offer greater insight into it. From what I have played, I can say that I enjoyed the combat system. It was very different from the previous generations of Armored Core. The game felt very much like it was based on both strategy and some stealth in the early missions.
