Like Akvavit, they are one of two companies to find success developing Kojima Technology. This caused a deep rivalry with each other since both were leaders in the said field.
During the Lynx War, Omer aligns with Global Armaments as this provided the perfect opportunity to engage in open warfare with Akvavit. Rosenthal supports Omer during this.
During the war proper, Omer is quickly forced into a defensive war due to taking a fatal blow early on. Their only hope then is Aspina's rising Lynx, Joshua O'Brien whose subsequent performance is enough to make even his own allies anxious.
At the later stages, a battle between Omer's Lynx Mido Auriel, Rosenthal's Leonhardt, and Anatolia's Mercenary (under a GA contract for the colony Anatolia) against Rayleonard's Berlioz and Zanni, Akvavit's P. Dam, and Unseel results in the defeat of the latter group — a crippling blow for the Rayleonard-Akvavit alliance. Soon after, the war ends in a GA-Rosenthal victory when Akvavit is destroyed by O'Brien while Anatolia's Mercenary destroys Rayleonard's headquarters, Exavil.
Shortly afterward, Anatolia is attacked by O'Brien in the NEXT prototype 00-ARETHA, which forces a battle between him and Anatolia's Mercenary. According to journalist Friedman Ray, this was a plot to get rid of Anatolia's Mercenary as a result of the corporations' fear of the unchecked power he possessed. The 00-ARETHA itself was long abandoned due to not only its dangerously high ability to produce Kojima pollution but also because it necessitated a mental load beyond any Lynx; Ray speculates then that it was Omer in particular that had Aspina make it usable for O'Brien. Ultimately, Anatolia is left in flames and Kojima pollution, and Anatolia's Mercenary kills O'Brien.[1][2]

Immediately after the 00-ARETHA's defeat, Omer's Celo, the Rank 6 Original, is ordered to attack Anatolia's Mercenary and is subsequently defeated.[3]
Armored Core: For Answer[]
Omer gains a firm technological advantage when they take in engineers from the felled Rayleonard. By the Economic War, they are in competition with TORUS for the development of Kojima Technology due to TORUS containing both Akvavit and Rayleonard engineers. Omer also becomes the dominant power within the League of Ruling Companies, although complete hegemony remains unachieved due to the independent streak of such groups as GA and TORUS; at this point, it is now more powerful than even Rosenthal.
