The PCA SP Captain is an AAS02: CATAPHRACT pilot active on the planet Rubicon 3 during the Coral War. He is a PCA SP officer deployed near the Old Bertram Spaceport.

Biography

The PCA SP Captain was deployed at the Central Icefield near the Old Bertram Spaceport, where Raven attacked him under the request of Rubicon Liberation Front. He initially identified the mercenary as the original Raven, but realized otherwise after took significant damage and noticed difference with PCA's simulation. He sent code 5 and his combat log to the Enforcement System for verification upon his defeat by Raven.

Craft

AAS02: CATAPHRACT

The AAS02: CATAPHRACT Special Forces craft is a heavily armed and armored machine built by the Planetary Closure Administration. It appears as a massive tank, supported by four caterpillar treads with numerous thrusters to boost its mobility. Its main body is covered entirely in thick armor that reduces incoming damage to a negligible scale, while attacks on its core MT located at the front deal standard damage.

It has two Gatling Grenade Cannons on its chassis, and its turret is equipped with two smaller Gatling Guns. Additionally, a 32-tube Missile Launcher and a Spread Laser Cannon are mounted atop the turret. Its missiles can fly in either horizontal or vertical trajectory, and its laser cannon can be charged to fire a massive beam in a similar fashion to VP-60LCD.

It is astonishingly fast and agile despite its size, capable of accelerating into extremely high speed to reposition or ram its target. It is also capable of flight in some extent, and can fire its weapons mid-air.

In ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON, the PCA SP Captain is a hostile NPC for the Chapter 3 mission "Destroy the Special Forces Craft." He is the mission's target and the only enemy in the mission.
